We offer Key RepairsSometimes it's the car processing the signal from the key that causes the problem. Communication with the module over the OBD port should identify any problems with this. It is a common BMW fault for this module or its wiring to fail.

Unfortunately it is relatively common for lock actuators and mechanisms to fail from wear and tear. Repairs tend to require a replacement unit and involve door strip down to install. Dragon are experienced at door card removal and installation.
To check the central locking of any BMW or Mini we always start with a FREE KEY TEST. We utilise an RF Spectrum Analyiser to test the output of the key. Common problems include Flat Batteries, Water Ingress and sometimes BMW keys tend to drift off frequency and need a simple resync.
